Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using the sjetZ API ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using sjetZ on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. What sjetZ is
sjetZ is a unified API gateway: you send requests to our endpoint using one key, and we route them to the underlying AI model providers you select (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or others made available in your dashboard). We meter usage and bill you based on consumption.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account and API keys.
- If you believe a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use sjetZ to:
- Break any applicable law, or generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
- Violate the acceptable use policies of the underlying model providers you route to.
- Resell access in a way that misrepresents sjetZ or violates these terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.
5. Billing and payments
- sjetZ uses usage-based pricing. You top up credit, and it's deducted as you make API calls, at rates shown in your dashboard before you spend.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor, Creem. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Credit purchases are generally non-refundable once consumed, except where required by law. Unused credit refund requests can be sent to [email protected] and are handled case by case.
- We may change pricing going forward; changes won't retroactively affect credit you've already purchased.
6. Service availability
sjetZ routes requests to third-party model providers we don't control. We do our best to route around outages and failures, but we don't guarantee the uptime, accuracy, or availability of any specific upstream model. The Service is provided on a best-effort, "as is" basis.
7. Intellectual property
sjetZ is built on the open-source New API project. Output generated by models you access through sjetZ is subject to the terms of the underlying model provider — we don't claim ownership over content you generate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sjetZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including losses caused by upstream provider outages, rate limiting, or model output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You can stop using sjetZ and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, non-payment, or suspected fraud or abuse.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
