Plain-language summary: we collect account, billing, and API usage data needed to run the service and bill you correctly. We don't sell your data. Payments are handled by Creem, not stored on our servers. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers sjetZ ("we," "us"), a unified AI API gateway operated at sjetz.com, and applies to anyone who visits the site or uses the API ("you").

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — email address, username, and password hash when you register.
  • Billing information — top-up and transaction records. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Creem; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • API usage data — requests made through your API keys, including timestamps, model used, token counts, latency, and cost. This is what powers your usage dashboard and billing.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and request logs, kept for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.

3. How we use it

  • To operate the API gateway and route your requests to the model providers you select.
  • To calculate usage, bill accurately, and process top-ups and redemption codes.
  • To secure accounts, detect abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To improve reliability, such as identifying failing upstream providers.

We do not use your API request content to train models, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum data necessary with:

  • Payment processing — Creem, our merchant of record, handles checkout and billing.
  • Model providers — when you make an API request, the content of that request is sent to the upstream model provider you selected (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or others), the same as if you called them directly.
  • Infrastructure — our servers are hosted with an EU-based provider.

We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and API request logs for a limited period to support billing disputes, debugging, and abuse investigation. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 7.

6. Security

All traffic to and from sjetZ is encrypted in transit (TLS). API keys are treated as credentials — you're responsible for keeping yours secret, and you can revoke or rotate any key instantly from your dashboard.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Cookies

We use only the minimum cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's privacy

sjetZ is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of sjetZ after a change means you accept the updated policy.
